Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, implementing strategic initiatives, and leading teams to achieve company objectives. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Operations Manager will play a vital part in driving growth and maintaining high standards of service delivery across all departments.
Duties
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity.
* Oversee daily business activities, ensuring smooth coordination between departments.
* Lead, motivate, and manage teams to achieve performance targets and foster a positive working environment.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making.
* Manage budgets, control costs, and optimise resource allocation to meet organisational goals.
* Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure service excellence and compliance with contractual obligations.
* Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational workflows.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements.
* Facilitate training programmes for staff development and continuous improvement.
* Represent the organisation at industry events and maintain professional relationships with partners.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role within a relevant industry.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in using management software and MS Office suite; familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
* Demonstrable problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards challenges.
* Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields are preferred but not essential.
