Job Opportunity: Experienced Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School inWellingborough
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Start Date: As soon as all checks are complete and the candidate is able to start
A Primary School in Wellingborough is seeking a confident and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and has a strong background in supporting children in a primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with teachers to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning
* Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, including those with additional needs
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Support classroom management and pupil engagement
* Assist with planning and preparation of resources
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including playground duties and school events
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
* A good understanding of the national curriculum and child development
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A proactive and flexible approach
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Additional Information:
* This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
* Start date will be confirmed once all pre-employment checks are completed.
