Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering and technology, with a focus on systems engineering and product development. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and practical knowledge, as you will be involved in various stages of project development, from design to implementation.
Duties
* Develop and design systems using AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation for construction projects.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) into system designs.
* Create detailed schematics and technical documentation to support project requirements.
* Utilise programming languages such as Python, C, and C++ for system development and debugging.
* Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions during the maintenance phase.
* Apply mathematical principles to support system design and product development initiatives.
* Engage in fabrication processes, ensuring adherence to GD&T standards throughout the project lifecycle.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical engineering principles and mechanical knowledge relevant to the role.
Skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and other CAD software is essential.
* Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices.
* Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their application in construction projects.
* Familiarity with programming languages including Python, C, C++, and MATLAB for system design purposes.
* Excellent analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and debugging techniques.
* Knowledge of fabrication processes and mechanical systems is highly desirable.
