About The Role

Our Payroll Department plays a crucial role in ensuring over 6,000 colleagues across Practice Plus Group are paid accurately and on time — and we’re looking for a proactive Payroll Administrator to join us.
Whether you already have some payroll experience or are looking to develop new skills within this field, this is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where your work truly matters. You’ll be supported by our Senior Payroll Analyst and wider team and have the chance to expand your knowledge step-by-step.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you’ll help ensure the smooth and accurate processing of our monthly payrolls. Your responsibilities will include:
* Responding to payroll queries and providing clear, friendly information to employees.
* Preparing and issuing earnings statements.
* Processing starters, leavers and changes to employee pay.
* Supporting the monthly payroll cycle, including data checks and reporting.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll spreadsheets and documentation.
* Monitoring payroll inboxes and assisting with administrative tasks across the team.
* Working closely with Senior Payroll and Payroll Analysts across four payrolls covering more than 6,000 employees.
You’ll play an important part in delivering a high-quality service that supports colleagues across the organisation.
What we'll look for in you
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is Accurate, Organised And Truly Enjoys Being Part Of a Collaborative Team. You Will Bring
* Strong administration experience — previous payroll experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
* Good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong numeracy skills.
* Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
* The ability to build good working relationships and handle confidential information professionally.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
