About the role

Implementing, auditing, and continually improving the Quality Assurance System. Providing technical support to the Production, Maintenance, and Hygiene teams. Ensuring products are produced safely, meet customer quality standards, and comply with legislative requirements. Taking corrective actions to maintain product specifications.


Key Responsibilities

* Auditing factory environment, processes, products, and records to verify adherence to standards and procedures, and identifying discrepancies with corrective action plans.
* Reporting factory technical status and non-compliance issues, both verbally and in writing, along with action plans.
* Monitoring product quality daily at various stages such as dispatch, online, and taste panels.
* Maintaining the Quality Assurance System, ensuring retrievability of process and quality records, and conducting internal audits for continuous improvement.
* Auditing HACCP systems to ensure product safety, including nut and glass policies.
* Ensuring traceability of ingredients through to finished products and customer deliveries, including traceability exercises.
* Performing critical tasks like thermal process validation, calibration, and temperature monitoring.
* Providing technical guidance and training to departments like Production, Hygiene, and Engineering.
* Participating in operational and technical problem solving, and project work.
* Actively reducing environmental impact through waste reduction and recycling initiatives.
* Performing any other duties necessary for the role.
