An exciting part-time opportunity has opened up for a standalone HR professional to be part of a global business, overseeing HR operations across the UK sites.
Key/main site: Bradford
Working arrangement: hybrid - weekly site presence in Bradford expected, quarterly site presence for other sites
Hours/days: 20 - 25 hours, days and exact working hours to be agreed with successful candidate
Contract: Part-Time, Permanent
Salary: c£38,000 FTE
The Role:
* Standalone HR role reporting to the Senior HR Manager (based abroad)
* Responsible for day-to-day HR operations - ER, benefits, recruitment, payroll & engagement
* Fully manage UK payroll process (end-to-end)
* Support annual pay reviews, absence management & performance processes
* Key player in embedding EMEA HR strategy locally
* Heavy involvement in operational and strategic HR delivery
* Support and contribute to the strategy, working closely with and being part of the senior leadership for the Bradford site
* Building relationships at all levels - being on the ground and available
* Manage the HR budget
* All relevant compliance responsibilities
Ideal Candidate:
* CIPD Level 3+ (ideally Level 5) or proven experience
* Strong HR generalist background (ER, payroll, recruitment)
* Previous standalone HR experience preferred
* Solid knowledge of UK employment law
* Confident communicator, problem-solver, and change champion
* Payroll experience would be preferred but is not essential
