Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to fill the role of Head of Sales - Coles. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction with our retail partner, Coles. You will lead a team of customer-facing professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes that meet or exceed our customer's expectations.
Key responsibilities
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive customer strategy to drive sales growth, market share, and profitability with Coles
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at Coles, including senior executives, category managers, and store operations teams
3. Lead a team of Senior NAMs, NAMs and NAEs to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and supply chain teams, to develop and implement customer-specific initiatives and programs
5. Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities
6. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales plans to achieve business objectives
7. Provide coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their roles
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and changes in the retail landscape to ensure our customer strategy remains relevant and effective
9. Lead 4P execution of all KHC strategies in customer, exceeding sales, profit, investment, distribution, market share, forecasting, and engagement targets
10. Actively participate in Kraft Heinz Senior Sales Leadership Team in Australia to make a positive contribution to the strategic direction, people development, and overall culture of KHC
11. Develop, drive, and execute strategic medium-term customer Joint Value Plans, connecting Customer and KHC strategy to drive mutual growth and value
12. Lead specific customer agenda within KHC, responsible for representing customer fully across all relevant functions, informing and driving customer orientation across all relevant aspects of KHC structure
13. Develop and drive a data-driven selling agenda within customer portfolio
14. Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies, programs, and goals
15. Uphold the Kraft Heinz values and work in a way that contributes to the company's vision

About you
17. 8+ years of experience in sales, customer management, or a related field, preferably in the FMCG industry
18. Experienced professional with recent track record of working with Coles or another retailer
19. Experienced in managing a complex customer portfolio in competitive categories
20. Proven leader, with the ability to influence internally and externally to executive level
21. High degree of commercial and business acumen
22. Strong analytical capability
23. Proven ability to negotiate and build long-term relationships
24. Drive to develop and progress within the business
25. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
26. Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams
27. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
