We’re working with a fast-growing organisation in Uxbridge to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant with a strong focus on disbursements. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created finance function, where you’ll be supported to grow your skills while making a genuine impact.
About the Role: You'll be responsible for processing supplier invoices and payments, managing the disbursement inbox, and supporting the finance team with reconciliations and reporting. Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication are key.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Coding and processing supplier invoices and credit notes
• Handling payment allocations and invoice reconciliations
• Responding to disbursement queries via email and phone
• Maintaining accurate supplier details and contact records
• Sending remittance advice following payments
• Reconciling supplier statements and bank transactions
• Working closely with the wider finance team to meet deadlines
About You:
• Experience in accounts payable, billing, or invoice processing
• Comfortable using finance systems and Excel for reporting
• Strong organisational skills with a proactive mindset
• High attention to detail and a structured approach to work
• Previous experience working with multi-currency payments would be an advantage
