An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Practitioner to join a busy and well-established nursery in Merton. The setting provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, with a focus on personalised learning and development.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will deliver high-quality early years care and education to children across different age groups, supporting their learning while contributing to a professional and friendly team environment.
Responsibilities
* Providing engaging and age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development.
* Ensuring the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of all children in your care.
* Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues to support children's progress.
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene, care, and compliance within the nursery setting.
* Supporting the implementation of the nursery's personalised curriculum and ethos.
What we are looking for
* Previously worked as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Educator, Nursery Assistant or in a similar role.
* Level 3 childcare qualification (Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse).
* Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to complete).
* Level 2 Food Hygiene (preferable).
* Enthusiastic, caring, and committed to delivering outstanding early years care.
