With technology, we turn spontaneous thoughts into meaningful experiences, helping people travel the world.</p><p>We are looking for a <b>Market Manager Assistant</b> to join our team of around 1,700 people worldwide to help power up the traveller’s journey for millions of holidaymakers. If you are passionate about hotels with a commercial attitude, keep on reading, as you might be the perfect fit for this job.</p><h3>Job in brief</h3><ul><li>Job Title – Market Manager Assistant – Hotel Partnerships – (Maternity Cover)</li><li>Working model – hybrid – London</li><li>Team – Hotel Partnerships Southern Europe team within the Global Hotel Partnership department</li><li>Level – Professional</li><li>Location – London, UK</li><li>Contract – Fixed-Term 6 months, full-time (36 h/week)</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Support the development and ongoing management of relationships with hotel partners, effectively communicating the value proposition of working with lastminute.com</li><li>Assist in the evaluation of existing partnerships by analysing performance metrics and identifying opportunities for optimisation</li><li>Contribute to the planning and execution of promotional activities and commercial initiatives to enhance availability and competitiveness of hotel offerings</li><li>Support the identification, onboarding, and setup of new hotel partners, ensuring alignment with internal processes and standards</li><li>Assist in the preparation and delivery of regular performance reviews with partner hotels, providing data‑driven insights and recommendations</li><li>Provide operational support to hotel partners, ensuring timely resolution of queries and effective day‑to‑day account management</li><li>Support the identification of supply gaps and market needs, contributing to initiatives that align supply with demand</li><li>Analyse performance data and prepare accurate and timely weekly and monthly reports on supplier performance</li><li>Maintain high data quality standards across internal systems and support administrative and coordination tasks within the team</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience</li><li>Fluent in English, additional languages a plus</li><li>Proficiency in Mac, Microsoft Office, Google Suites, and PC applications</li><li>Strong problem‑solving, analysis, and planning skills</li><li>Adapts well to and thrives in an evolving workplace and industry</li><li>Possesses creative and innovative instincts, with the ability to translate ideas into reality</li><li>Thrives as a team player with a strong work ethic</li><li>Commercial attitude</li></ul><h3>Benefits & Perks</h3><ul><li>Shorter working week (36h as full time), with a half working day on Fridays</li><li>Flexible start and end of the working day</li><li>Possibility to work from anywhere for a period of time per year as per local regulations</li><li>2 paid days off per year for volunteering purposes</li><li>Occasional social events to foster connections among colleagues</li><li>Travel industry discounts and flash exclusive staff fares</li><li>Support through life’s significant moments with leave options (e.g. parental responsibilities, marriages, bereavements, relocations) in line with local laws</li></ul><h3>Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion</h3><p>At the heart of our culture is a commitment to inclusion across race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, gender identity or expression, and accessibility.
