As the Space & Engagement Lead, you will be the gatekeeper and designer of our MrQ culture and how we work. This role is central to shaping an environment—both physical and virtual—that fosters connection, engagement, and alignment with our values. You will drive initiatives that bring our culture to life, ensuring a great experience for our people whether they are working in the office, remotely, or in hybrid settings.
What You Will Do
1. Engagement & Events
* Design and deliver engagement programs that reinforce culture, recognition, and team connection.
* Lead planning and execution of company-wide events, celebrations, and cultural initiatives.
2. Culture & Values (including DEI)
* Champion our culture and embed our values across everything we do.
* Develop and maintain initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
3. Workplace Strategy (Remote / Hybrid / Office)
* Define and evolve principles for remote and hybrid work that optimize productivity and employee experience.
* Ensure clear guidance and best practices for distributed teams.
* Build the mechanisms to make this work
4. Location Strategy
* Lead office footprint planning, ensuring our spaces meet business needs now and in the future.
* Own the budget for space for MrQ.
Project manage office moves or redesigns, including liaising with contractors and vendors.
5. Office Management & Experience
* Oversee day-to-day UK office operations to ensure an exceptional workplace experience.
* Manage relationships with office vendors, service providers, and landlords.
6. Employer Branding
* Partner with Marketing to strengthen our employer brand, ensuring MrQ is seen as a top destination for talent.
* Own the creation of content and campaigns that showcase our culture externally.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in office management, workplace strategy, or employee engagement roles.
* Strong project management skills, particularly in office moves or space redesigns.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Creative problem-solver with a passion for culture-building and employee experience.
* Comfortable working in a hybrid and fast-paced environment.
Desirable
* Experience in employer branding or working with marketing teams on talent attraction campaigns.
* Understanding of DEI best practices and how to embed them into culture.
* Previous experience in the tech or gaming industry is a plus.
