Sales Manager – Scotland - Construction
The Opportunity
A leading global provider of temporary works and construction solutions is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead its regional sales team across Scotland. You’ll be managing a team of salespeople, driving customer engagement and delivering continued commercial success in a client-facing, hands-on leadership role.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading, coaching and supporting a team of regional sales professionals
* Developing and delivering a regional sales strategy aligned with wider business objectives
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, contractors and consultants, especially tier one contractors.
* Assisting in the pursuit of framework agreements
* Visiting client sites regularly to understand needs and offer tailored solutions
* Driving new business development while ensuring existing client satisfaction
* Monitoring team KPIs, pipeline performance and supporting individual development
* Working closely with internal teams (engineering, operations, and commercial) to ensure smooth project delivery
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* A proven leader with experience in the construction industry
* Confident in managing people and performance in a target-driven environment
* Commercially sharp with a hands-on, customer-first mindset
* Strong knowledge of the Scottish construction market and key players, especially with tier one contractors
* Capable of influencing, presenting, and building long-term partnerships
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
Preferred
* Technical knowledge of formwork, HD propping, repair and maintenance and or groundworks
* Understanding local and national framework agreements
