Teaching Assistant – SEMH School
We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join an specialist SEMH school. This role is ideal for someone who is calm, resilient and passionate about helping pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs engage positively in their learning.
About the Role
You will support pupils in class, in small groups and occasionally 1:1, helping them manage behaviours, build emotional regulation skills and access the curriculum. A key part of the role involves contributing to our enrichment afternoons, delivering or supporting creative, practical and wellbeing-focused activities that develop confidence, social skills and independence.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to stay calm and use positive behaviour strategies
* Experience with SEMH or SEND (desirable, not essential)
