The Role
:
As part of the engineering maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Repairing and maintaining mechanical systems including pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics & pneumatics
2. Fabricating and welding (MIG & Stick) components and parts for plant machinery
3. Setting up and aligning machinery, moulds, and tampers with precision
4. Supporting continuous improvement across the site, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
5. NVQ Level 2 + in Mechanical Engineering OR Welding.
6. Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and fitting
7. Must be competent in welding (MIG & Stick)
8. Knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics is an advantage
9. Proactive, flexible, and a strong team player
