Snapshot of your role
* Manage the full lettings process, from marketing and advertising properties through to customer sign-up.
* Minimise void times by ensuring properties areallocatedand re-let efficiently whilemaintainingquality standards.
* Oversee tenancy terminations, ensuring legal compliance and providing advice and support to customers.
* Ensure all allocations meet legal, regulatory, and organisational policy requirements, challenging unsuitable nominations where needed.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams, local authorities, and partner agencies to deliver smooth andtimelyallocations.
* Support relocation projects, including regeneration schemes and planned or emergency decants, ensuring moves are completed to agreed timelines.
* Maintainaccurateand confidential records, report on lettings data, and provide responsive support to resolve customer queries, complaints, andadditionalneeds.
Whatyoullneed to thrive in this role
* CIH Level 2 qualification (achieved, working towards, or willing to work towards).
* Good knowledge and practical experience of lettings, allocations, and relocations within a housing setting.
* Strong understanding of housing and tenancy law, including nomination agreements and compliance requirements.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory environment, with the ability to apply changes in practice.
* Experience of working with local authorities and external partners to deliver services.
* Ability to use housing management systems effectively andmaintainaccuraterecords.
* A collaborative approach, with the ability to work across teams to deliver consistent services.
* Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to stay focused and effective under pressure, including travel across the region asrequired.
