Overview
This is a Fixed Term contract for a period of two years. You will support young people aged 14–19 (up to 25 with SEND), including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), helping them explore personalised pathways into education, employment, and training. Working closely with families, SENCOs, and multi-agency teams, you will play a key role in preparing young people for adulthood and successful transitions. This developmental role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 6 qualification in careers guidance.

Responsibilities
* Deliver inclusive and accessible careers information, advice and guidance (IAG).
* Support young people in identifying opportunities such as supported internships, inclusive apprenticeships, and specialist colleges.
* Use person-centred tools to assess aspirations, strengths, and barriers.
* Participate in EHCP reviews, transition planning meetings, and multi-agency forums.
* Build effective relationships with SENCOs, providers, and support services.
* Advocate for young people and co-produce guidance journeys with families.
* Maintain accurate records using ICT systems and contribute to reporting and service development.
* Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Achieved Level 4 in Careers Guidance.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and agencies.
* A commitment to professional development and willingness to undertake relevant training.
* Basic understanding of SEND and transition planning (desirable but not essential).

Salary
Band F, SCP26 - 31 (£37,270 - £41,771) per annum.
