Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Quality Assurance Technician to work in their leading facility in Deeside .
For the successful Quality Assurance Technician our client is offering:
* £13.60 per hour, plus shift allowance on night shift
* Shift Rotation Monday - Thursday 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am
* Temp to Perm position
* On site parking
* Long weekend every week.
The Role –Quality Assurance Technician
* Perform daily factory inspections, including line changeovers, swabbing, and production checks verification.
* Facilitate product sampling and external laboratory testing, including taste panels and End-of-Line (EOL) assessments.
* Provide training and competency assessments on Critical Control Points (CCP) and QMS policies and procedures
* Update, review, and train staff on Product Information Sheets, Quality Attributes Sheets, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Perform process control verification, such as Free Fatty Acid (FFA) tests
What our client is looking for in a Quality Assurance Technician :
* Previous experience of working in a food manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
* Previous experience with quality assurance- ESSENTIAL
* Strong understanding of food safety regulations, industry standards, BRC and retainers code of practice
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
