Rosehaven is a 24 bed care home in Blackpool, caring for residents with a range of individual needs.
A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Care Assistant 36 hours per week to join and complement our existing Rosehaven team on day shifts.
The ideal candidate will have experience and a good understanding of -
* ordering, administering and handling medications
* documentation - ensuring good documentation of conversations with professionals, residents' relatives etc.
* working as part of a team
* leading a team - ability to give clear instruction and follow up
* liasing with professionals
* care planning
* dealing with safeguarding issues
Hours will be on a rota basis between the hours of 8am -8pm. Applicants must be flexible with regard to morning/evening/ 12 hour shifts and alternate weekends.
Enhanced DBS and 2 references required including most recent employer.
Summary
