We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Practice Manager to join a busy and well-supported GP practice. This is a permanent position, ideally full-time, but part-time applications will be considered for a minimum of 30 hours over 4–5 days. A handover period will be available from the outgoing Practice Manager to support a smooth transition.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team, managing HR functions, overseeing compliance, and maintaining systems and processes across the practice. You must be highly organised, proactive, and confident in prioritising a varied workload. Strong HR experience and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams are essential. The role is supported by a Business Manager, Admin Supervisors, a Reception Manager, and a Nurse Lead.
Candidates must have strong literacy and numeracy skills and experience managing teams, HR processes, and projects. While NHS or general practice experience is desirable, applicants with equivalent business or healthcare leadership backgrounds are welcome. Qualifications in leadership, management, or healthcare are an advantage.
