Support Worker Role at The Kent Autistic Trust
We are seeking a female support worker in accordance with care plans and personal care tasks involved in the role.
Note: Regrettably, we cannot offer sponsorship for this role.
Starting salary is approximately £25,812 per year for a 35-hour week, including one sleep-in per week at £60 per night. Working an additional 6 hours per week (41 hours total) increases the salary to about £29,844 per year, with potential to earn over £30,000 through overtime.

Job Details
* Hours: 35 hours/week
* Shift: 3-week rolling rota including early, late, and long days
* Location: 1a Homersham, Canterbury, Kent
Meet the Team
Homersham is a supported living service near Canterbury with 7 tenants aged 21-28, including 4 self-contained flats and 3 ensuite bedrooms. The tenants enjoy community activities and social events, including outdoor gatherings and celebrations.
The team is friendly, social, and eager to welcome new colleagues. They enjoy coffee and socializing.
Training Provided
* Care Certificate (transferable certificates accepted)

Responsibilities
* Drive a mobility car or service vehicle (manual license required, essential)
* Support individuals with various behaviors and mental health issues
* Assist with community activities and personal care
* Work confidently alone
* Manage household tasks and support with finances
* Support individuals with additional needs
* Maintain accurate records
