Are you an enthusiastic, confident registered nurse with a background in Cardiology or pre-assessment. An opportunity has become available to join our cardiac catheter lab pre clerking team. The post is for 19 hours a week which would be spread over 2 days.
We are looking for a Clinical assessment nurse to join our dynamic team who has Cardiology experience and insight into the workings of Cardiac Catheter Lab. The role will focus on assessment and preparation of patients for procedures and will require excellent communication and clinical skills. The consent process is considered a vital aspect of patient care and the post holder will, once competent participate in obtaining informed consent.
Our current Pre assessment service assesses patients prior to Diagnostic Angiography, PCI, and Permanent Pacemaker implant, Pacemaker battery changes and loop recorder implants.
