We’re working with a supportive secondary school in Middlesbrough seeking a Science teacher to join their department. The team is collaborative, well-organised, and focused on consistent, high-quality teaching.
This role is suitable for ECTs or experienced teachers across Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
What you’ll be doing
1. Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
2. Delivering clear, engaging practical and theory-based lessons
3. Supporting students with exam preparation and scientific understanding
4. Maintaining a safe, structured learning environment

5. UK QTS or equivalent
6. Strong subject knowledge in Science
7. Confident classroom presence
8. A calm, positive, and organised approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
