An excellent Specialist School in Swindon is currently looking for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join them on a long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for Psychology or Criminology graduates, or experienced Teaching Assistants, to develop experience with Special Educational Needs and Behaviour, and to help support mental health.
The SEN School seeks a confident, dedicated Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic and passionate about mental health. Previous experience working with children—voluntary work, babysitting, sports coaching—would be beneficial. Experience with challenging behaviour is also advantageous.
As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will work with children aged 11 to 16 with various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and behaviour challenges.
