A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the Woolverstone, Ipswich area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers. This care home provides an environment where staff enable residents to feel free to go about their daily lives and work with Dementia Care Matters to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia.
Responsibilities
* Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify care priorities.
* Administer all medication and treatments within NMC guidelines and company medication policy.
* Ensure that residents’ care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals.
* Report any ill health among residents and request GP/professional visits where necessary.
Requirements
* Qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Preferred Skills
* Proven experience in a care setting.
* A good team player.
* 1+ year NMC registration.
* Well‑developed time management and leadership skills.
