Client: FinTech trading
Salary: Up to £150,000 + Bonus/Benefits
Location: London (Hybrid)
My client is a tech-driven proprietary trading firm expanding their Application Support team. They seek someone with prior front office experience to provide technical support and engineering functions for proprietary and third-party trading systems. The role is highly technical with a focus on automation.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure readiness of the global trading platform for pre- and post-trading activities.
* Monitor and support transaction flow across the trading platform.
* Identify, analyze, and resolve alerts/issues promptly, or escalate to minimize disruptions.
* Collaborate with trading community, back office, brokers, exchanges, development, and infrastructure teams.
* Supervise automated processes, scheduled jobs, and reports.
* Create tooling and automate processes to optimize workflows.
* Coordinate with Dev and Infrastructure teams for software releases.
Candidate requirements:
* 3+ years supporting front office trading systems.
* Strong scripting/development skills in Python (must have).
* Strong Linux OS understanding (must have).
* SQL experience.
* KDB experience is a plus.
* Degree in computer science or related field.
* Technologically advanced, 5-10 years ahead of the competition.
