Job title: Support Worker (Supported Living)
Hours: Full time (40 hours) or Part time
Vacancy Locations: Bronwydd Arms, Carmarthenshire
This role will require a full UK manual drivers licence.

About the role
Whether you're new or experienced, you'll make a difference as a Support Worker. You will treat everyone with dignity and respect, supporting daily living skills and promoting independence and decision-making.
What we need from you?
* A genuine passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities and enhancing their quality of life.
* Empathy, patience, and understanding for individual needs and preferences.
* Effective communication skills to build positive relationships.
* Flexibility to adapt routines and support each person's unique requirements.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Willingness to undergo training for specific health needs, such as Epilepsy and Dysphagia.
* Experience or knowledge of communication methods for hearing impairments (desirable).
Your rewards
* Full and part-time roles with a basic salary of £25,029.00.
* Additional earnings of approximately £3,000 per year for 1 weekly sleep-in shift (£6,000 for 2 shifts).
* Overtime opportunities, e.g., an extra shift per week could earn an additional £4,000 annually.
* Holiday entitlement starting at 22 days plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 26 days.
* Sleep-in shifts paid at £60 per night.
* Sick pay up to 3 months full pay and 3 months half pay.
* Company-covered costs for DBS checks and SCW registration.
* Fully funded induction, ongoing training, and qualifications in Health & Social Care.
Note: Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks are required before employment for all staff supporting vulnerable adults.
