The Senior Local Recruitment Manager will lead and manage the recruitment team to identify, attract, and recruit top football talent, ensuring high standards in talent acquisition and development.

Your Impact
1. Leadership and Management: Oversee the recruitment team, including the local recruitment coordinator and Inclusive Recruitment Manager, fostering positive relationships and supporting professional development.
2. Talent Identification: Lead efforts to attract and recruit the best football talent across age groups, aligning with academy goals and standards.
3. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a recruitment strategy to build a sustainable talent pipeline, aligned with the academy’s philosophy and resources.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with local clubs, coaches, agents, and internal teams to access emerging talent.
5. Policy and Procedure Implementation: Develop and ensure adherence to recruitment policies and best practices.
6. Scouting and Talent Evaluation: Oversee scouting activities, player assessments, and reporting to ensure quality in talent identification.
7. Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular updates and insights on recruitment activities to senior management.
What we are looking for
Essential
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a football academy environment.
* Proven ability to recruit top talent.
* Strong relationship-building skills.
* Understanding of developing athletes and working with multidisciplinary teams.
* Knowledge of academy operations and wider operational demands.
* Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable
* Knowledge of the EPPP guidelines.
* Experience with the Teamworks platform.
* Understanding of high-performance sport environments.
