Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our Technical Team at Fairfield General Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary. The role involves dispensing, ward‑based medicines management, medication reviews in community settings and participation in clinical trials. You will record patient medication history, process discharges, and support full dispensary duties.
Responsibilities
* Dispensing medicines accurately and efficiently.
* Ward‑based medicines management duties.

Essential Qualifications
* Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician.
Desirable Qualifications
* BTEC Professional Development certificate in Dispensing Technician Checking.
Experience (Desirable)
* Proven qualified hospital experience.
Knowledge (Essential)
* Basic working knowledge of Pharmacy practice.
* Awareness of the duties of this post.
Communication (Essential)
* Good written communication skills.
Skills (Essential)
* Good teamwork skills.
* Good customer relation skills.

* Salary: £27,485 to £37,796 a year (Pro Rata)
