<div><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated<b>Community Nurse</b> to join our Care Home Team as a <b>Band 6 Deputy Team Lead</b>.</p><p>Based at <b>Stanmore (HA7 1AT)</b>, the Care Home Team delivers high quality nursing care to residents across care homes within <b>Hertsmere, St Albans and Harpenden, Dacorum, and Watford</b>.</p><p>You will be supported by an experienced Band 7 Team Lead, Practice Development Nurses, and a range of specialist link nurses, with access to excellent learning and development opportunities through the CLCH Academy.</p><p>This role is ideal for an experienced community nurse looking to develop their leadership skills within a supportive and forward thinking team. The post holder will be required to work across the locality in response to service needs, including participation in a 1 in 4 weekend rota. As travel between care homes and community settings is required, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes are essential.</p><p>If you are passionate about delivering outstanding care, developing others, and progressing your leadership career, we would love to hear from you.</p><h3>Main duties of the job</h3><ul><li>To set and maintain standards of care and deploy, co-ordinate and supervise the nursing team and learners as required.</li><li>As a Deputy Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients within residential care settings, providing clinical leadership and supporting the day to day management of the team.</li><li>You will line manage and support <b>Band 5, 4, and 3 </b>staff, helping to develop confident, autonomous practitioners whilst ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care.</li><li>To provide leadership and management to a team of community nurses and other staff covering the four localities across Herts Valleys.</li><li>To be responsible for the teams assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised nursing care to patients living in a residential home.
