Lancaster Conferences & Hospitality are looking to recruit a highly motivated professional to join their team in the role of Hospitality Supervisor for our Front of House Team on a full time contract. This role is a great opportunity to build customer service skills and development within food delivery, conference and events.
The Team operate all year round delivery of hospitality for university meetings, conferences and events and student college activities, at venues across Campus including the Lancaster Conference Centre, Forrest Hills and at the Castle in Lancaster. We also operate 80 Guest Rooms.
During vacation times the Team host larger events for up to 800 people including day and residential conferences.
We are looking for a team member who is passionate about delivering a consistent high standard of customer service and who can work in a high-pressure environment. You will need to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends.
The successful candidate must be a Team Player but also display initiative and a positive attitude.
ABOUT YOU
The successful individual will have;
1. Experience in conference delivery and food service
2. Experience of working in a high volume food and beverage setting
3. Able to demonstrate a strong customer service ethos and the ability to deliver consistently high levels of service standards
4. Be a team player
5. Ability to adapt to changing working demands
6. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and delegate tasks
7. Able to work flexibly on a rota basis to include evenings and weekends
8. Able to undertake physical lifting and manual tasks
9. Proven Reliability and Responsibility
10. An interest in working and developing a career in the food, beverage and retail industry
