Company Description The DSL is part of a long-standing tradition of excellence in the world-wide networks of more than 140 schools abroad. Position The IT Technician supports the day-to-day operation of the school’s IT services, providing frontline technical support to staff and students. The role focuses on maintaining hardware and software, assisting with user support, troubleshooting issues, and helping to ensure the school’s IT systems run smoothly.
Responsibilities Help administer the school’s computerised systems supporting the IT Manager/IT Systems Administrator
Support and maintain the Level 1, 2 Helpdesk
Troubleshoot end user desktop hardware & software problems
Setup and maintain new desktop hardware and machines
Help maintain the school’s iPad fleet through Jamf MDM (Mobile Device Management System)
Carry out IT related projects as assigned in a diverse environment
Setup and maintain user accounts in active directory, Office365, ParentPay
Requirements Familiar with current Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems, Microsoft 365, and standard applications in a domain environment.
Experience in troubleshooting, network and desktop issues
Ask precise questions and gather enough information in order to be able to diagnose and solve IT problems and discern the level of support required
Maintain a pleasant and professional manner when dealing with end users
Work as part of a team and maintain composure in the face of changing workloads and constant interruptions
MCSA or equivalent knowledge
Help Desk L1 and L2 experience
