Job description: To help us build authority and demand in the market, we’re looking for a commercially-minded Copywriter who can transform complex technical concepts into engaging, persuasive, and clear content to help us build authority and demand in the market. If you're passionate about storytelling, tech-savvy, and results-driven - this is your chance to help shape our voice across every stage of the customer journey. You'll work closely with the Head of Marketing, sales, technical SMEs, and vendor partners (especially Microsoft) to create content that speaks to the needs, challenges, and goals of IT and business leaders. Your writing will support our full-funnel marketing activity - from top-of-funnel brand building to bottom-of-funnel conversion. This is a remote role, but we are looking for someone UK-based. You may be occasionally required to attend team meetings or collaboration sessions at our office as needed (typically once a month). We have our offices in London, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Edinburgh. Experience that will be crucial to be successful in this role: 3 years of professional copywriting or content writing experience in B2B tech (ideally in cloud, IT services, cybersecurity, or software/SaaS) Strong portfolio of content across multiple formats and buyer stages Proven ability to write for different audiences - from technical IT leads to C-level decision-makers Clear understanding of B2B buyer journeys and marketing funnels Experience writing within or for Microsoft partner environments is a strong plus Skills & Attributes that will help you thrive in this role: A natural storyteller with excellent written English and editing skills with high attention to detail Curious and tech-savvy - quick to grasp complex topics and turn them into compelling content Passionate about writing with a focus on results and resonance Confident working independently and to deadlines Agile, collaborative mindset - thrives in a fast-moving team Nice-to-have skills that will help you succeed in this role: SEO writing and content optimisation skills (e.g., keyword research, meta descriptions) Experience using CMS and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Grammarly, SEMrush) Familiarity with Microsoft’s co-marketing tools, solution plays, or partner GTM content What you'll do on a daily basis: Craft clear, engaging copy across a wide range of formats: - Website and landing pages - Whitepapers, eBooks, guides - Blogs, thought leadership, and articles - Email campaigns and nurture sequences - Social media ads and organic posts (especially LinkedIn) - Video scripts, webinar content - Case studies and customer success stories - Sales enablement collateral (e.g., one-pagers, decks) Translate input from technical experts into compelling business messaging Support campaign messaging, tone of voice documentation, and content planning Align content with Microsoft solution areas and GTM themes (Azure, M365, Security, AI) Collaborate with design and digital teams to create cohesive, brand-aligned assets Help manage content calendars, audits, SEO optimisation, and performance tracking We offer: Flexible hybrid/remote working arrangements.
