English Teacher
Location: NorthamptonStart Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Permanent

The Role:
* Teach engaging and differentiated English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with KS5 options in some schools)
* Foster a classroom culture that promotes reading for pleasure, confident communication, and analytical thinking
* Deliver a rich curriculum covering both traditional and modern texts, creative writing, and exam preparation
* Track student progress and use data to inform teaching and interventions
* Contribute to the development of schemes of work, assessments, and extracurricular initiatives such as book clubs or writing competitions
* Collaborate with colleagues across the department to share resources and continuously improve outcomes
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with a specialism in English Language and/or Literature
* A genuine passion for your subject and a creative approach to teaching
* High standards for behaviour, achievement, and engagement
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt lessons to suit all learners
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a reflective, growth-oriented mindset
* Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) - structured support and mentoring provided
