We are currently partnering with a Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Governance Officer to join their growing team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time position and the start date is subject to notice. Duties will include (but are not limited to): * Providing secretariat support for several sub-committees, working closely with committee chairs and senior managers for both academic departments and professional services * Taking minutes of agreed Committee and Board meetings, ensuring these meetings are run effectively and producing approved minutes within the allotted time period * Developing and circulating meeting agendas and papers, as well as monitoring that follow up actions have been carried out sufficiently * Preparing papers, reports and spreadsheets in relation to governance and risk management and/or insurance * Identifying and implementing changes to policies and procedures to ensure the service continues to meet agreed quality standards, guidelines and procedures Experience required: * The ideal candidate will have experience in the sector and have used OneAdvanced software Working hours: * 37.5 hours per week * Monday - Friday Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
