Join to apply for the Writer/Journalist Programme role at The Borgen Project.
This is a part-time programme: 12 hours per week, 12 weeks, unpaid and remote. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the programme in fewer weeks. Start dates occur monthly; you choose the month you wish to start.
The programme is focused on content creation for BORGEN Magazine or The Borgen Project Blog. The organization works at the political level to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine and poverty, and advocates to make poverty a focus of U.S., Canadian and U.K. foreign policy.
With about 20 years of experience in the advocacy space, The Borgen Project has supported the passage of numerous bills benefitting hundreds of millions of people in developing countries.
Responsibilities will include

* Article writing.
* Researching topics.
* Assisting with The Borgen Project\'s advocacy efforts.
* Assisting with fundraising. Create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.
Experience No prior experience is necessary; we’re looking for people who are passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of GPA/background.
Details This is an unpaid programme, although college credit is available.

Qualifications
