Salary: £12,505 to £19,325 dependent on age and experience, plus a Tool Allowance

The Multi-Skilled Apprentice role:
We have an exciting, unique opportunity for three individuals to join our team as Multi-Skilled Apprentices
As part of this brand-new role to Berneslai Homes, you'll receiving the training and gain the experience, abilities and skills in a variety of property maintenance operations including joinery, plumbing, plastering and bricklaying.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of our Multi-Skilled Apprentice:
* Complete training to achieve a Level 2 in Property Maintenance.
* Conduct the general day-to-day maintenance required to keep a range of properties in a good state of repair.
* Use a broad range of fundamental trade skills including carpentry, joinery, plumbing, plastering, brick and block work, external works and associated finishing trades including tiling, painting, and decorating.
* Working and receiving instructions on a one-to-one basis and working in a team.
* Understand the key principles of buildings and their construction, and the range of building services that support a buildings operation.
* Work within the procedures of Risk Assessments and Safety Method Statements and where necessary work within the 'duty of care' of employees to all Health and Safety legislation.
What we are looking for in our Multi-Skilled Apprentice:
* Must have 3 GCSEs or equivalent (preferably in Maths, English Language and a Science).
* Ability to work to proper instruction from a recognised Craftsperson.
* Ability to work at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
* Knowledge of basic measurement and levelling (both vertical and horizontal).
* Ability to travel as necessary to meet the needs of the post.
* Demonstrate a positive, flexible approach to team working.
