Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Projects Technical Development Manager, based in the UK or Ireland. You will play a key role in driving the success of large‑scale power and temperature control projects, developing and executing winning sales strategies while converting warm leads into high‑value opportunities.
What you’ll do as a Projects Technical Development Manager
* Develop and execute sales strategies for large power and temperature control projects.
* Identify and evaluate potential opportunities from warm leads.
* Provide recommendations to boost sales within Major Projects.
* Receive customer enquiries, quote for work, negotiate contracts, and secure orders.
* Identify value‑added engineering opportunities.
* Promote Aggreko’s engineering and technical resources, and deliver high‑value, profitable projects.
* Coordinate with all Aggreko functions on engineering and project planning, execution, and invoicing.
* Work with Marketing to develop advertising, PR, sales campaign strategies, and literature.
What you’ll bring
* Commercial background dealing with large power or temperature control projects.
* A technical or engineering background.
* Strong commercial awareness.
* Ability to develop stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively across wider teams.
* Strong attention to detail, able to work under pressure to deliver tasks on time.
* Self‑motivated, with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and think beyond day‑to‑day remit.
* Expert‑level negotiation skills with commercial terms and legal agreements.
