About the role:
The Nursery Apprentice will support Nursery staff in ensuring the efficient daily operations of the Nursery, providing care and support for all attending children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and participate in children’s activities, including planning and observations
* Assist in devising stimulating activities suitable for different ages and stages, and maintain children's records
* Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment for children
* Participate actively in team meetings and discussions
* Ensure children behave safely at all times
* Attend training as required and perform other duties as reasonably assigned by the Nursery manager
Candidate Requirements:
* Working towards a childcare qualification
* Evidence of commitment to professional development
* Experience in a Nursery or similar environment
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and the prevent agenda
* Enthusiasm and motivation
* Ability to work under pressure
