Job Title: Electrical Project Manager Location: London (potential flexible working) Contract Type: 12-Month Contract Day Rate: £400 - £500 per day Start Date: Immediate About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of commercial fit-out projects across London. The role focuses exclusively on fit-out works, managing electrical installations from design coordination through to testing, commissioning, and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of projects to programme, budget, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities · Manage the full project lifecycle of electrical fit-out works, including lighting, power distribution, containment, small power, fire alarms, and associated systems · Lead project planning, resourcing, and progress tracking to ensure on-time delivery · Coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet key milestones · Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, resolving design or installation issues · Ensure compliance with all health & safety, QA, and building regulations requirements · Chair site meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients · Oversee testing, inspection, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems within fit-out environments Requirements · Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Electrical Package Manager delivering fit-out projects · Strong background in electrical building services installations within commercial offices or high-end fit-outs · Solid understanding of LV distribution, lighting control systems, containment, and structured cabling · Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills · Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets, cost tracking, and subcontractor performance · Up-to-date knowledge of electrical standards, IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671), and relevant building codes · CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid qualifications desirable · Electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) preferred
