Full-time – 37.5 hours Shift and schedule Monday to Friday Salary: DOE Our Client in Yatton, North Somerset are looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. What you will be doing: • Monitor and manage customer credit limits to ensure timely payment and minimise risk. • Review and analyse customer accounts to identify overdue payments and outstanding balances. • Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on overdue payments and resolve payment discrepancies. • Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers to facilitate timely payment. • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment agreements, and collection efforts. • Working with Credit insurers. What you will need to succeed: • Knowledge of credit control principles, practices, and regulations. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to build rapport with customers and maintain positive relationships. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. • Proficient in using accounting software. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks.
