* You’ll lead a team, with direct reports under your guidance

* Experience in route planning, fleet coordination, and customer/supplier relations
* Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel

* Leadership experience with a supportive, solution-focused approach
* Cool under pressure and skilled at staying organised
* CPC in National/International Transport Management
* Full driving licence, HGV preferred
* Strong working knowledge of transport compliance (Driver Hours, WTD, Tachographs, etc.)
What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day
* Keeping our operations fully compliant and efficient
* Supporting drivers with scheduling, guidance, and performance reviews
* Carrying out spot checks on vehicles and daily inspection logs
* Working closely with the workshop manager to manage repairs and service schedules
* Overseeing documentation and leading health and safety in the transport department
* Using tools like telematics and routing software to optimise operations
If you're someone who loves bringing structure to fast-paced environments and you’re ready to take ownership of an evolving transport function, we’d love to hear from you.
