Procure Connect is an AI-enhanced procurement platform that helps businesses choose, buy, and manage their software in one place. We combine guided RFx, AI-driven vendor discovery, and human context to make decisions faster, clearer, and easier to govern, then keep everything on track post-purchase (renewals, usage, compliance, and security visibility).
đź‘€ The role (ownership from day one)
You’ll own the product build and set the technical direction as we go from MVP to a secure, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS. You will:
* Ship the MVP and evolve it into a robust product.
* Design the architecture (cloud infra, tenancy, data model, RBAC, observability).
* Build core workflows and dashboards for vendor evaluation and software management.
* Develop APIs and integrations (SSO/IdP, email/calendar, finance/procurement tools).
* Put security, privacy, and compliance foundations in from the start.
* Shape the technical roadmap, prioritise well, and help hire the early team.
đź› Must-have experience
* Senior full-stack builder who has taken B2B SaaS from 0→1 and shipped it.
* React/Next.js (or similar) front end; Node.js or Python back end.
* AI/LLM product experience: integrating LLM APIs, retrieval/embeddings, prompt design, evaluation, guardrails.
* Systems design for multi-tenant SaaS (data separation, RBAC, audit, scaling).
* Comfortable with security & data governance (authN/Z, secrets, logging).
* Product mindset: collaborate on UX and outcomes, not just endpoints.
* UK-based (preferred), fluent English, remote with occasional London meet-ups.

* Integrations with IdPs (Okta/JumpCloud), finance/ERP, ticketing, or contract tools.
* Experience in compliance-heavy environments (e.g., SOC 2 groundwork).
