We're seeking a compassionate and dependable Waking Night Support Worker to join a well-established and highly regarded children's residential home near Folkestone. The Role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a calm, secure, and supportive environment throughout the night.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing attentive and reassuring overnight supervision
Creating a safe, structured, and peaceful atmosphere
Carrying out regular welfare checks and maintaining accurate records
Responding calmly and effectively to any incidents or needs
Following safeguarding, fire safety, and health & safety procedures at all times
Attending training, supervisions, and team meetings
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Caring, patient, and emotionally resilient
Calm under pressure with a proactive mindset
Passionate about supporting children and young people
Committed to delivering high standards of care and professionalismExperience in a children's residential setting is beneficial, but not essential-full training will be provided for the right person.
You'll also need to be willing to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare if you don't already hold this qualification.
