Role Summary
We are seeking a senior, market‑facing product leader to shape and drive the EMEA product strategy for a growing payments portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of product, commercial strategy, and regulation - translating customer needs, regulatory requirements, and market opportunities into a clear, executable product roadmap.
You will act as the regional product and commercial interface, partnering closely with Sales, Presales, Engineering, Customers, and Regulatory bodies to influence roadmap evolution, support complex deals, and improve profitability across EMEA product offerings. Working in close collaboration with the Global Head of Product, offshore Product and Engineering teams, EMEA Sales Directors, and the EMEA Presales and Customer Onboarding teams, this role offers high visibility, strong regional ownership, and meaningful impact on growth and market success.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure customer, regulatory, sales, and pre-sales inputs are reflected in the product roadmap for EMEA.
* Support offshore product teams in user story, solution, and roadmap reviews.
* Engage with regulatory bodies and industry forums for rulebook updates and roadmap enhancements.
* Support product strategy through new product evaluations, pricing, partnership assessments, market analysis, and value proposition development.
* Provide pre-sales support and participate in commercial/change request negotiations.
* Guide demand generation and deal desk teams on product capabilities and positioning.
* Lead product vs. customization discussions with customers and support CR positioning.
* Represent Product/Engineering in customer discussions from a product management and rail/domain perspective.
* Build Business Case for regional product initiatives and drive approvals basis ROI, Risks, Market needs etc.
* Partner with business leadership to improve profitability across regional product lines.
* Build and enable second-line onshore SME capability across Product and Engineering in EMEA.
Qualifications
* 15+ years of overall experience preferred in banking and payments industry.
* 5+ years in Product Management, Product Strategy, or Solution Consulting within Payments/Financial Technology.
* Strong knowledge of payment rails, regulatory frameworks, and market infrastructure in EMEA.
* Experience working with customers, regulators, and cross-functional global teams.
* Proven ability to influence roadmap, support sales, and drive strategic product decisions.
* Prior experience of engaging with product & technology leadership within large FIs.
