Can you confidently work with 3D modelling tools such as REVIT or E3D? The Opportunity: A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a skilled Piping Designer to join their integrated design team. This role offers the chance to work on technically challenging projects within a highly regulated environment, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Develop practical and maintainable piping layouts for plant systems and services.
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
* Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to deliver optimised design solutions.
* Produce and review key deliverables such as isometrics, general arrangements, and layout drawings.
* Check and verify design outputs from other team members to maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in piping design within a regulated industry such as nuclear or petrochemical.
* Strong knowledge of UK regulations and industry design codes.
* Proficiency in 3D modelling software such as REVIT, E3D, or similar tools.
* Familiarity with Navisworks and Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
