Warehouse Operative Location: Rocester, Uttoxeter Working Days & Hours: Monday to Thursday: 6:00pm to 4:30am Pay Rates of a Warehouse Operative: Standard: £16.54 per hour Overtime: £19.85 per hour (paid after 39.5 standard hours) Requirements of a Warehouse Operative : Experience picking stock based on part numbers and labels FLT experience is a massive advantage but not essential Strong understanding of safety regulations and guidelines Physical stamina, as the role involves manual handling Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions Responsibilities: Line feeding: Supplying and supporting the production line with required materials or parts in a timely and organized manner Inventory control: Helping to maintain accurate inventory records and reporting any discrepancies Record keeping: Maintaining detailed records of material movements and deliveries Picking, checking, storing, and packing automotive goods either manually or using RDT technology to a high standard of accuracy Pump trucking stacks of full totes and sorting them to the appropriate department Preparing products for shipment and ensuring accurate loading Loading and unloading trailers safely according to procedures Regular heavy lifting Maintaining high levels of health and safety and reporting any concerns Assisting with inventory counting and stock investigations when needed Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors Benefits: 33 holidays per year in line with site shutdown periods Weekly pay Pension scheme Mortgage references Contract with Job&Talent offering stable employment and benefits If you are looking to contact our onsite team, please visit the site locator on our website.
