Job responsibilities The Eastbourne Early Intervention for Psychosis is a diverse team of talented individuals, offering a wide range of specialisms. We are looking for a highly motivated qualified person (Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker) to join our team. This is a diverse and challenging rolewhich requires an enthusiastic and dedicated person. You willwork with the team manager and clinical colleagues in order to develop and co-ordinate an effective pathway of recovery with a caseload of service users, families and carers. You will be creating collaboratively, treatment plans for people with complex presentations whilst working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.You will be providing a range of specialist assessments and psychosocial interventions in a variety of settings in a style that crosses traditional professional boundaries. You will also have opportunity to support other staff / studentswith professional development. You will have previous health or social care experience working with clients with complex mental health problems, and a real commitment to the principles of EIP and this client group. You will also have roles in developing the service, as we work to meet new Access and Wait Time Targets, including provision to At Risk Mental State and over-35s groups. You will also be promoting the service to partner agencies and providing educational initiatives as part of broader mental health promotion to reduce stigma around psychosis. You will be supported by the Team Leader, the existing team, and through clinical and managerial supervision and training. We offer a commitment to support your continued professional development.
