Description
* Manage and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
* Oversee the implementation and upgrade of technology infrastructure.
* Provide technical support and solutions to internal teams.
* Develop and enforce IT policies and best practices across the organisation.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address technology requirements.
* Monitor system performance and implement improvements where necessary.

Profile
A successful Lead IT Specialist should have:
* A strong background in IT management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
* Proficiency in managing and upgrading complex technology systems.
* Experience in implementing IT policies and ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
* Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Leadership experience to guide and develop an IT team
* A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (technical certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Cybersecurity are a plus)
* experience in IT infrastructure, site/field support, or cybersecurity roles
* Strong knowledge of networking, Servers, storage, cloud technologies, and Microsoft environments
* Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, compliance standards, and IT/OT integration
* Experience with automation platforms and low-code tools (eg, PowerApps, Power Automate)
* Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement scalable solutions
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
* Ability to mentor and train users and junior IT staff
* Willingness to travel occasionally to support regional sites or events
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
