Our client, a leading company in the rail sector, is seeking an experienced E&P Programme Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Based in the North West, this role involves overseeing the electrification projects, growing and developing the Electrification offering in the region, and building key client relationships within the E&P, electrification, or OLE sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership for electrification projects, ensuring they are executed with the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our electrification offering.
Lead project teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Monitor project performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in programme management, preferably within the infrastructure or electrification sectors.
Familiarity with electrification systems, power distribution, and infrastructure development, including an understanding of relevant technologies and best practices.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a focus on delivering projects within a framework environment.
Previous experience working for a tier one contracting organisation.

Qualifications and Experience:

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as electrical engineering, civil engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
In-depth knowledge of electrification systems, power distribution, and related infrastructure, including familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
Experience working in OLE infrastructure delivering E&P schemes.
Experience working in 11kv or 33kv substations.
Proven experience in Senior project management, especially in overseeing electrification projects from initiation to completion.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
