Site Engineer
Annual Salary: £35,000

Reed Engineering are working with one of the world's leading project development and construction groups, renowned for its inclusive and responsible approach to building a better society. They are seeking a Site Engineer to enhance their Infrastructure team on a highways project in Norwich.
Day-to-day of the role:
Communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors, enabling functions, designers, and client representatives.
Write and/or review Temporary Works Design Briefs to the acceptance of the Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC).
Review designs and raise any queries with your Section Engineer.
Understand the design specifications and drawings for your section, challenging them where relevant.
Collaborate with the Section Engineer and supervisors to manage any clashes with other site works effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering.
Minimum of 1 year construction experience.
SMSTS and CSCS certifications.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
Strong knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and common construction methodologies.
Familiarity with temporary works processes, design, and management.
Understanding of construction contracts through both experience and formal training.
